In response to Ukraine’s urgent humanitarian and economic crisis caused by widespread landmines, Harrison Rider LLC developed a detailed concept of operations and problem framing for a next-generation demining solution. The work outlines the critical limitations of traditional manual clearing methods — which are slow, dangerous, and resource-intensive — and proposes a comprehensive approach covering detection, neutralization, and proofing. Drawing from on-the-ground realities, the strategy emphasizes community trust, operational safety, and modular system development. The concept aligns with U.S. aid priorities and reflects the global need for scalable demining solutions in post-conflict environments.
